Anyone even remotely interested in Reincarnation knows that those with Down’s syndrome are amongst the oldest, purest souls.
Here is an uplifting film about two sisters and their life together with our family here at oakwellbarns. The eldest, who made the film, was 9 years old and the youngest (who has Down’s syndrome was 5) Agnieszka intends to make a film every year of their life showing how they grow. This is her second film in the series.
You can visit Agnieszka’s website for more of her films and blog about her life with her little sister: www.agnieszkaproductions.co.uk
Below is one of the many heartfelt comments written about Agnieszka’s film. It resonates so strongly with me because day after day what Magdalena brings to my life and to the world enriches and is immeasurable. My prayer is that people will be still, for long enough, to notice and receive her blessings:
“Agnieszka, you are destined for great things. This is a film that needs to go viral. I think you can change the world’s perception of Down syndrome. These children deserve to live full lives, but more than that… WE deserve to have them in our lives. They will teach us how to love in ways that we are so lacking. Thank you for sharing your beautiful life.” Julie Bork from Texas USA
Agnieszka blogs about her home educated life with her little sister, Magdalena on her website. At the bottom of the following blog she talks about Down’s syndrome and her thoughts about it: About Down’s syndrome-Agnieszka’s thoughts (age 10)
This comment was left from a stranger on her blog:
“So simple yet so powerful; it’s a kind of ‘all you need to know about DS’. This is a great help to those of us with relatives who have DS; I have a beautiful granddaughter aged nearly six so I shall use your piece to send to friends and others who don’t yet fully understand. Thank you Agnieszka.”
